In two days, we’ll ring in 2015. As we wrap up this year and venture on to the next, we find ourselves reflecting on what we’ve accomplished and what we have yet to achieve.
Some time ago, Abraham Lincoln said, “I do the very best I know how– the very best I can; and I mean to keep on doing so until the end.”
We saw many important accomplishments in 2014; from the Olympics, ground-breaking Affordable Care Act enrollment, new work-place technology trends leading to the adoption of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), to the many accolades and history-making endeavors our city has received and embarked upon, including the continent’s second-largest energy transaction with Houston-based Kinder Morgan. On the MTA front, 2014 has been an exciting year, with the introduction of two new partners, Stacie Gill and Rebecca McElroy, and the promotion of our newest official CPA, Pedro Obando.
We simply can’t deny that we all proudly do our very best, but Maddox Thomson & Associates would not exist to do good work and keep moving forward, without our loyal clients and community. In 2015, we pledge to continue to help you reach your financial goals, serve as your forward-thinking CPA firm and trusted advisors and, as always, do the very best we can for you.
We thank you for placing your confidence in us to take care of your important financial and tax matters, so you may focus on the parts of your life you love most. We owe our successes to you.
