The team at MTA had an incredible year in 2022. We successfully secured numerous refunds and grants for our clients, including the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC), Advanced Child Tax Credit (ACTC), and the Restaurant Revitalization Grant (RRG).

We also announced our newly elected leadership team: Partner Rebecca McElroy will lead the firm as President, and Partner Jennifer Youngblood will serve as Vice President. The new leadership team has been an integral part of MTA for more than a decade, and we’re excited to see what the upcoming year holds for our company.

The team at Maddox Thomson was honored to present our Quilt of Valor to Avery W. Smith, a Vietnam Veteran. Thank you to Special Forces Advisor Smith for your service, sacrifice, and valor in serving our nation.

Our office had a great time cheering on the Houston Astros to a World Series Championship. We also started a new “Ugly Sweater” tradition at our annual Christmas party to celebrate the holiday season. We are grateful for the fun and excitement that continues to be in the MTA office, and we look forward to an exciting 2023.
